Beijing Tourism Exhibition shows its “international style”

Recently, 2017 6th Beijing International Tourism Commodities and Tourism Equipment Fair held in Beijing. The exposition set up Beijing Hall, China Hall, special tourism commodities Hall. Key to launch the winter tourism exhibition area , leisure drive exhibition area, old famous enterprises area, old Beijing suburbs tourism shopping season exhibition and etc. The exhibition areas were more than 20000 square meters. It attracted 14 countries and regions , 21 provinces groups, more than 660 exhibitors. Attendance was more than 50000 people. Many special products from overseas tourists were focused on the attention.



Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei participated in the exhibition together

Get into the exhibition of the main hall, especially the main three integrations of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei tourism exhibition attracted the persons’ eyes. In “Beijing gifts” booth, a state banquet tableware was filled with nearly five meters long table. Soon it was surrounded by several layers of the audience. This was the table ware that used by 2017 “One Belt One Road” international cooperation peak BBS .This suit tableware which was based on traditional historical culture, learned from the ancient silk road, joined in contemporary ceramics design concept and innovation of science and technology process. The appliance and the scene were very matching, showed its own ingenuity.

Tianjin and Hebei exhibition areas had also launched a number of featured products, which attracting many visitors. Tianjin exhibition area launched” kite Wei” kites, Gui Fa Xiang 18 street “Chinese doughnut”, Tianjin winter vegetables, etc. Hebei exhibition area had introduced Luannan shadow puppetry, mini train model in Tangshan south road ,Huanghuali wood kitchenware.



Old famous brand area as one of the highlights of the exhibition areas was very colorful and popular. “Bu Ying Zhai” “Dao Xiangcun” “Sheng Xifu” “Wang Zhihe” , these old shops displayed the unique classic products, won the appreciation of many tourists. One person said this Bu Ying zhai’s cloth shoes, they weared for many years. The whole family just confessed this brand. Mrs. Wang who in Beijing Dongcheng district was the old famous brand loyal fan. “I was rest assured, for example, the cotton cloth shoes worked very fine and weared comfortable, too”.

Oversea’s products show

Not only Chinese enterprises actively participated the exhibition, but also like France, Japan, kazakhstan,Malaysia,New Zealand and etc. The multiple countries’ tourism commodities enterprises also brought different region new feeling things, to attract different visitors’ eyes.

Nepal's exhibitors, for example, use mountaineering tourism as their main products. Kenya exhibitors have launched the wildlife paradise, wildebeest safari, photography tour and other special events. From the point of view of eco-environmental recycling, the French exhibitors have launched dry environment-friendly public toilets without water and electricity to meet people's need for outdoor toilets. Egyptian exhibitors, with the ancient civilization as the promotion theme, launched a series of historical and cultural tourism products such as the pyramid, lions face portrait.

Egypt and China, since ancient time, there were many common historical origin and cultural empathy. Especially since the initiative of “One Belt One Road” in China , the relations between the two countries were more solid and closed together. The numbers of envoy of civilization between two countries' tourists were increasing. It opened the door for the cultural exchanges between the two countries. The tourism industry to the trade between the two countries economic development added new vigor. The leader who in Egypt travel company said,“As the world tourism economic recovery, China's tourism industry has become the central point in many countries of the world and reference samples. Hope can communicate with more Chinese tourism enterprises, promote the development of Egypt's tourism industry and contribute to the tourism and cultural exchanges between the two countries.”

Owe travelling and shopping both sides

“Beijing, as the Capital of China, has many advantages of science and technology innovation superiority of media, and international communication etc.. We are struggling to build international first-class harmonious livable city”. Song Yu, director of the Beijing tourism development committee said. The Beijing Municipal Tourism may be defined as the capital of” functional industry”. Tourism had already become the important point of adjustable structure , steady growth, benefit of livelihood.

According to the data, the total tourism revenue of Beijing reached 502.1 billion RMB in 2016, 9% growth year-on-year . Tourism shopping and catering consumption totaled 265.9 billion RMB, up 14.7% year-on-year, accounting for 24.2% of the total retail sales of social consumer goods. Tourism investment reached 79.55 billion RMB, accounting for 9.4% of the total social fixed asset investment. At the same time, Beijing has one fifth of China's total trade in services and more than 285 million tourists, which has great potential to boost consumption and economic growth.

During the exhibition period, the 2017 Beijing tourism shopping season project was launched simultaneously. 100 tourist shopping high-quality goods project released which covered special products such as Huairou’s chestnuts, Fangshan’s persimmons, Mengtougou’s peares, and old -famous brand products such as snacks of Daoxiangcun, pickles of LiuBiju , and cloisonne production process. At the same time, 10 Beijing suburban tourism shopping boutique routes were also launched together, providing tourists with rich experience and services from the aspects of "purchase" and "travel".
